Christine Dunn is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP. Ms. Dunn received her law degree from the University of Virginia in 1999.

Prior to joining Sanford Wittels & Heisler, Ms. Dunn worked for five and a half years as a trial attorney in the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section. In that capacity, Ms. Dunn prosecuted federal civil rights crimes on behalf of the United States throughout the country. Specifically, Ms. Dunn prosecuted cases involving police misconduct, hate crimes, and human trafficking. During her time at the Department of Justice, Ms. Dunn also did a six month detail where she worked as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. In that capacity, Ms. Dunn was responsible for handling all phases of criminal prosecutions for cases in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Before serving as a Department of Justice Trial Attorney, Ms. Dunn was a Litigation Associate at Williams & Connolly. Ms. Dunn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Farrell of the District of Columbia court of Appeals. Ms. Dunn has also served as an adjunct professor at the American University Washington College of Law.

Ms. Dunn graduated from Yale University (B.A. History 1995) and obtained her law degree from the University of Virginia (J.D. 1999).

Ms. Dunn is admitted to practice in D.C. and Maryland.
