Jenifer Rajkumar is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP. 

Ms. Rajkumar received her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she was a public interest fellow and graduated with pro bono distinction.  She received her undergraduate degree phi beta kappa from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was awarded prizes for the best thesis in her major and for exemplary service to women in the community.

During her time at Stanford Law, Ms. Rajkumar worked at the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, at the Center for Reproductive Rights, and was awarded a pro bono fellowship from LeBoeuf Lamb Greene and MacRae LLP.  She served as an elected member of the law student government, chaired the Public Interest Law Students Association, and participated in Moot Court.

Ms. Rajkumar has also worked for the domestic violence legal services division of Sanctuary for Families, for the Community Women’s Education Project, and for the South Asia Human Rights Documentation Center in New Delhi, India.

Ms. Rajkumar is admitted to practice in New York. She is practicing under the supervision of David Sanford, a member of the DC bar, while her application to the DC bar is pending.
