Harlan Trevithick graduated from Cornell University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Near Eastern Studies.
At Cornell, Ms. Trevithick studied Arabic language for eight semesters and spent the fall of 2008 in Amman, Jordan, working as an intern for the non-profit organization People In Need. She was a varsity member and 2010 Captain of the Cornell Women’s Rowing Team. Within her team and through her membership in Cornell’s Red Key Athletic Honor Society, Ms. Trevithick promoted inter-team athletics and encouraged community service engagement between Cornell and the greater Ithaca area. She worked directly with organizations like Big Brother Big Sister and the Franziska Racker Center to support youth athletic involvement. Developing her interest in language and the law, Ms. Trevithick also participated in an Arabic-English language exchange with Judge Raid Juhi al-Saedi, the investigative judge for the trial of Saddam Hussein.
She plans to attend law school in the future.
